Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Cinemus AI is developed and operated by Gökhan Musapaşaoğlu, Demirköprü Mah. 6190/3 Sk. No: 14, İç Kapı No: 8, 35560 Karşıyaka/İzmir, Türkiye (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: gokhan@cinemus.ai.

2. Data we collect

• Account information — your name, email address and sign-in details when you create an account.
• Content you provide — the photos, selfies, reference images and text prompts you upload, and the videos and images generated from them.
• Purchase information — records of your subscriptions and in-app purchases (product, date, status). Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive your card details.
• Device and usage data — device identifiers, app version, operating system, how you interact with features, and crash and performance data.
• Advertising and attribution data — device and advertising identifiers, used — with your permission where required — to measure which ads and campaigns lead to installs and purchases.

3. How we use it

• To provide the app’s core features — processing your content to produce the result you asked for.
• To create and manage your account.
• To process subscriptions, credits and purchases, and restore them on your devices.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix crashes and errors.
• To understand how the app is used, improve it and measure our marketing campaigns.
• To answer your support requests.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. AI processing of your content

Cinemus AI uses Google Cloud Vertex AI, including the Veo and Gemini models, to generate videos and images from your content. Your content is sent to these providers only to generate your result, under terms that allow them to process it on our behalf.

AI-generated videos and images are created automatically and may be inaccurate or unexpected. Please only upload photos of other people with their permission.

5. Legal bases

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, we process data because it is necessary to provide the service you requested (contract), for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the app, on the basis of your consent where required (for example tracking on iOS), and to comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules.

6. Who we share it with

• Service providers acting on our behalf: cloud hosting, AI processing, analytics and crash reporting, and advertising attribution.
• Apple and Google, which handle payments and subscriptions made through their stores.
• Authorities, when we are legally required to.
• A successor, if the app is sold or transferred, under this policy.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own independent purposes.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside Türkiye (for example in the European Union or the United States). When that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

8. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: account data while your account is active; your content and results for as long as needed to provide them to you or until you ask us to delete them; purchase records for the periods required by tax and accounting law. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

9. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Under KVKK Article 11 you also have the right to learn whether your data is processed, for what purpose, and to whom it is transferred.

10. Tracking choices

On iPhone and iPad, the app asks for permission before tracking you across other companies’ apps and websites; you can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

11. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access to it is restricted to what is necessary. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

12. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or on this site.
